Parent support group for parents of children using or suspected of using narcotics.  They offer support,

Awareness and empowerment.  Region wide but meets in New Hamburg, Ontario every 1st & 3rd Monday evening of the month. (except statutory holidays)

Grand River Hospital - Withdrawal Management (Detox)                  

Care and referral for alcohol, prescription drugs and illicit drugs or solvents.  For male/female 16 yrs. and older.  Assessed 3x/day for 3 to 5 days approximately.   

Homewood Health Centre                 

Substance abuse treatment facility for male/female 19 yrs. and older.  Residential program 28-30 days.  

House of Friendship - 174 King North                           

Male rehabilitation facility for alcohol or dual dependencies.  Program 6-8 mos.                                  

Interfaith Pastoral Counselling Centre

 Therapeutic counselling for individuals of physical, emotional, and sexual abuse.

Facility for drug addiction of male/female over 16 yrs., Specialize with cocaine addiction

Renaissance Centre

Treatment facility for male/female 16 yrs. And older with alcohol as primary addiction but will deal with dual addictions.  Residential program is 21 days, day program is 6 mos.

Sister Margaret Smith Centre Youth Services

Male/female 13 to 17 year olds with drug and alcohol addiction a 5 wk. treatment program. For male/female 18 yrs. and older, a 3 ½ wk. treatment program

St. Mary’s Counselling Service

Counselling individuals with drug, alcohol or gambling concerns and their families.

Stonehenge Therapeutic Community

Long term (4-6 mos.) residential treatment facility for adults, specializing in substance abuse.  Their treatment uses a peer challenging model, not 12 step program.

Teen Challenge

Christian based rehabilitation centre for males 18 yrs. and older with drug and alcohol addictions.  Residential program is 12 mos.

Turning Point

Post rehab facility for after care from 2 mos. to 1 year.
